À chacun sa chanson brings together traditional songs, original pieces and francophone “hits”, from Marjo to Lisa Leblanc, in a festive, multidisciplinary show. This revamped 2023 version uses the evocative power of music, dance and puppetry to tell a funny yet touching story about the importance of trusting your own tastes.

We follow the story of Catherine, a young girl in search of the perfect song to win her village’s singing contest. In her quest, she encounters a cast of diverse characters, all of whom have something to say about how Catherine should go about it. Assailed by contradictory opinions and advice, will she find the courage to sing her own unique song?
